"Paradise, whatever the time of year". This is probably how the area appealed to prominent personalities of artistic and political life in the 19th century and why it became known as Bohemian Paradise. Here it was possible to rest, relax, find inspiration. The area was soon declared a protected nature reserve and a camp was established in the notional heart of Bohemian Paradise in 1961, a place with ideal conditions for a quiet family holiday in this geologically diverse area, with its many rock towns, medieval castle ruins and folk architecture, all set against the backdrop of romantic valleys, ponds, meadows and forests. Bohemian Paradise is one of the most important European geoparks and has been a UNESCO site since 2005. The dominant feature of the region is the ruined castle of TROSKY, from where you can take in some breath-taking views of the landscape. The camp's employees focus their activities on enjoying the natural beauties here, enriched with sporting and cultural experiences. They always strive to provide quality services and combine relaxation and learning, the protection of nature and monuments. You too can get to know the authentic geological textbook on how natural processes developed in the sandstone phenomenon that is Bohemian Paradise.
