Bižu-Nova s.r.o. is a company that was founded with only a few employees in Jablonec nad Nisou in the early 1990s to produce metal parts. It moved to a larger premises in Smržovka in 2000 and remains there to this day. The premises have undergone demanding reconstruction and modernisation and now employ state-of-the-art computer technology to control production processes, which ensures excellent production quality. The company uses some tools and machinery from the workshops of master Czech tool-makers and engravers and makes some itself. Even nowadays, however, it would be impossible to go without precise manual work when setting, producing rondells and chaton balls. When carrying out soft soldering, the girdlers only use lead-free solders that are non-detrimental to health. The company demands perfect craftsmanship and engages in the production of semi-finished fashion jewellery products and strass jewellery, making jewellery for all occasions. It uses only high-quality glass stones and accessories from Preciosa a.s. in all its products.
