She studied at the Faculty of Interior and Industrial Design. Her diploma work was a cutlery set. After many years, she added glass plates to it. She started working in glass after moving to the Jizera Mountains. There has always been glass-making tradition here, and, as it seems, she also could not do without. Her design experience proves very useful when it comes to glass. Magdalena Kuźniarz received solid training in painting and drawing at the studio of Prof. Stanislaw Kortyka. Already during her university time, she fell in love with monotyping, and this technique has delighted her to this day and is one of the favourite forms of her work with children.
