Kapellanka – spring water from extinct volcanoes. The water bottling plant in Podgórki offers spring water in the 5-gallon system (18.9 l bottles for dispensers). It is a small family business. The water comes from a natural spring Kapella located 500 m above sea level in the village of Podgórki, in the range of the Extinct Volcano Land, hence its unique, natural composition, balanced and containing lots of valuable minerals. It is the only water in Poland sold in 5-gallon bottles with the addition of natural iodine. Iodine is called the element of life and its deficiency is one of the most serious health problems according to the World Health Organization (WHO). The most affected part of population are the inhabitants of mountainous areas. The bottling plant is planning a large expansion consisting in launching a line for bottling water in non-returnable glass bottles.
