‘Aurelia’ Gold Mine in Złotoryja – Dug in hard diabase rock at the foot of Mount Nicholas, where a cemetery is located. The underground route was opened to the public already in 1975. You can visit a 100-metre drift from the 17th century. The area is developed for tourism, equipped with a gold panning facility, a playground for children, a barbecue, a place for a bonfire, a roofed shelter with benches and a table. There is a large car park next to the facility for cars and coaches. The mine is open from the beginning of May to the end of September, Wednesday to Saturday, from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm. On Sunday, it is open from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm. The last tour half an hour before the closing time.
