For three generations Vorel has been specializing in the creation of distinctive stone design. Home accessories made of stone: chess, clocks, cups, jewelry of various shapes and colors, stone inlay paintings. The family tradition has been going on since 1936, when František Vorel began studying stone processing in Prague. Then he founded his own company. After moving to the Giant Mountains he continued to work on stone. Here also the son František Vorel Jr., who brought his wife Marie Vorlová to the craft, continued in the tradition with his father. Their sons Jakub and František also continue in the trade. Jakub studied stonemasonry in Lipnice nad Sázavou and since 1994 he has created his style of processing stone jewelry and home accessories as a tradesman in a workshop in Roztoky u Jilemnice.
