This ceramics studio is part of the Na Bidýlku family guest house, located in Poustka near Frýdlant in the north of the Liberec region. Set among pastures in the countryside, the house entices visitors to enjoy a spot of creative relaxation.

We organise mug-making workshops for the public in the ceramics studio and ceramics camps for children in the summer. We produce practical and decorative ceramics, which we fire in an electric furnace. Ceramic products are made either on a pottery wheel or using the cladding technique - a simple technique used to make mugs. Everyone who comes to the pottery workshop makes their own mug using this technique. All our products are on sale in the Mug Gallery, which is right next to the guest house.

There is a themed “Path of Crafts” that leads to the guest house, celebrating the honest craftsmen who enjoy their creative work every day. The eight crafts depicted by the eight figures of the craftsmen are closely related to building and living in a house. The sculptures of craftsmen introduce you to their skills and remind us of how important craftsmen are in building a house. There are also plenty of interesting facts from history to be learned.
